Lounsberry brings international family law experience to team
Spartanburg, S.C. — KD Trial Lawyers. is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Jonathan W. Lounsberry as an associate in its Spartanburg, S.C. office. Lounsberry will join managing partner John B. White, Jr., partner Allison Dunham, and associate Tatyana Ustimchuk as the newest member of the firm’s family law team.
As a Fellow in the International Academy of Family Lawyers and a Fellow in American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Lounsberry’s professional experience includes extensive work in complex family court litigation, international family law issues, and 1980 Hague Convention litigation, which is designed to protect children and promote prompt return of abducted children to their habitual residence.
“Jonathan’s joining the KD Trial Lawyers. family law team means we have significantly enhanced our bench strength in international divorce cases and other international family law matters,” says White. “I am happy that Jonathan has joined our team and thankful that our state will continue to benefit from his talent and expertise.”
Lounsberry served as a senior associate attorney at a local Spartanburg firm prior to joining KD Trial Lawyers. A native of Columbia, S.C., he is a 2009 graduate of the Charleston School of Law.

Lounsberry is very active in the community, including serving as a board member of the Spartanburg Little Theater and a vestry member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent. He and his wife live in Spartanburg and have two small children.
