Medical Benefits in Workers Compensation

In South Carolina, there are two primary types of benefits you receive in workers compensation:  money benefits and medical benefits.  Money benefits include weekly checks if you are unable to work and a final award based upon what level of permanent damage an injured worker suffered once they have reached the end of treatment.  These benefits have caps in place depending upon how much money the injured worker makes, what body parts were injured, etc.

Jeremy Dantin has handled workers’ compensation cases at all levels in the State of South Carolina. He is a member of the Injured Workers Advocates, the premier association for claimant’s attorneys dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of workers in workers’ compensation cases, where he formerly served on the Executive Committee and currently serves on the Legislative Committee.  Jeremy speaks at seminars on issues regarding workers’ compensation.
