Why did you become an attorney?
Growing up, my parents encouraged my siblings and me to choose a career which would give us a sense of purpose and an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Through my studies, my apprenticeships, and my mentors, I found that purpose in the practice of law. I realized that the law is a powerful tool which can be used not only to help people, but also to shape society and to bring positive change to the community in which I live. Consequently, I became an attorney and I absolutely love it!
What do you like most about the law?
I believe that the American judicial system, despite its flaws, is the best judicial system in the world. That being said, I really enjoy helping people as they assert their legal rights and seek whatever relief that may be entitled to under the law. On a practical level, I like researching the law and finding ways to apply it to the everyday issues faced by our clients in ways that yield direct positive change. To me, a positive outcome is intellectually satisfying and extremely fulfilling.
Of all the firms in the Carolinas, why should someone come to Harrison White?
Harrison White lawyers have a level of solidarity, knowledge and teamwork that other firms simply cannot match.
What don’t people know about you?
My family and I emigrated to the United States of America in 1999 as refugees.
